I’m always amazed at how good it smells when I walk into Avant. Jaleesa did a great job as usual with my hair, the shoulder and scalp massage before the shampoo/cut and a hand massage when she got done with my hair. I look forward to my next mini spa day!!

Tammy is very pleasant and her hearty laughter did me good. . No one I showed these knots to laughed so it brought a smile to my face to know she could. I’ve been liking putting my hair up . It was a miracle remedy. I needed to hear from a MASTER hairdresser through a consultation what advice she could offer. I Know it will take hours to work on deranging and personally, I am not sure it is worth it. Are you sure the small bottle of shampoo is 30.00 dollars ? I use to buy the 32 ou for 35:00. PLEaSE check on that. I have NOT opened it yet.

I\'m really happy with how my hair turned out! The stylist I had for my appointment was Gina. While I don\'t usually have many questions for the stylist whenever I get my hair cut, I was curious about what layers actually did as I had gotten them in the past when I was younger, but haven\'t in recent years. She did an awesome job explaining the purpose of layers and recommended that I get them as my hair is very straight and doesn\'t have a lot of volume to it. I\'m very glad I listened to her recommendation and got them because my hair looks so much better than it did without them!

If you want someone that listens to what you want and even double checks that it’s exactly what you want you have to book an appointment with Josh! I love how my hair looks when he cuts or colors it. My 14 year old daughter has a LOT of long thick wavy hair and the only person she likes getting her hair cut or colored with is Josh. Teenagers are very picky and she is very happy with her hair anytime she has an appointment with him.

I had requested a very experienced person who could point cut and texturing my hair. The person who made the appt assured me this person could do both. I got someone who has been providing services for only a year. Did not texturing my hair and did not do point cutting. Hair cut OK but not like the person in Yuma.

She took the time to understand my hair goals and did everything she could to bring them to reality while making sure my hair stayed as healthy as possible. If something isn’t 100% to your liking, they will fix it. I am constantly recommending Avant and will always do so.

Tammy is wonderful! Pricing is a bit high though! I’ve been going to Aveda Salons since I was a teen. Just moved here from San Diego and was a client at Pret-a-port Salon for 13 years. . I’ve never paid over $200 for the same service. My bill was over $200 on Wednesday. I really loved Tammy, but it’s becoming out of my budget. Sad to leave Aveda after all of these years. But I will continue to use the wonderful products.

And then I wanted her to fix my face framing that was messed up from my last visit to Avant in October. Also I was in and out of there in 40 minutes! I would highly recommend Gina. SAVING GRACE!! I typically grow my hair out to my mid-back and then go in for a good cut every 4 months. I went to a lady who literally CHOPPED my hair off. Easily lost 4 inches and ended up with such an uneven cut it looked like she just snipped wherever she wanted. Not even curly my hair would hide the rugged ends. I went to Avant today and had the NICEST experience I have had in 3 years. We had to cut my hair 2 inches shorter than I wanted, but the style is cute!
